Add assets to collections
To group related assets, add them to a collection in a Helix DAM project. You can add new assets to a collection or copy assets from one collection to another to reuse them. New or copied assets are automatically version controlled and stored securely so there is no risk of overwriting or losing them.
You can add assets to more than one collection, but they are added as independent and unrelated copies. If an asset changes, copies of the asset do not change.
You can:
-
Add new assets to a collection. See Add new assets to collections.
-
Add folders that contain assets to a collection. See Add new asset folders to collections.
To reuse an asset that is already in a collection, see Copy assets to other collections or folders.
