View asset versions

You can view different versions of an asset to see changes over time. For example, you may decide to make a copy of a past iteration of a character image to use it in a different project.

  1. Open the asset.

  2. To display the list of asset versions, click the asset version number before the asset filename.

    In the list, each asset version has the date and time the version changed, the user who made the change, and a Download button Image of the Download button.

    A checkmark indicates the asset version you are viewing. Asset versions marked as Deleted cannot be viewed or downloaded.

  3. Click a version.

    The asset for the selected version opens.

You can add tags to a versioned asset and copy it to a collection in a project. See Add tags to assets and Copy assets to other collections or folders.
