Uncluttered symbols

This feature enables you to separate overlapping symbols that are positioned very close together and which give a cluttered appearance to the view. Separating symbols in this way is done by dragging a rectangle over the set of symbols of interest. This displaces all the symbols related to the current SDM model displayed (and contained within the rectangle) and removes the clutter from the view.
When you displace the symbols, their true position can be seen more clearly; the anchor point for each symbol is shown in red with a line connecting it to the symbol. Note that if a symbol does not need to be moved, only the point is displayed.
The following figure shows an example of cluttered and uncluttered symbols.
