To remove clutter from a set of overlapping symbols:

Click the
button in the main toolbar and then click
in the Map View to display a rectangle. -
Drag the rectangle over the symbols from which you want to remove the clutter. The symbols are displaced so that their true position (anchor point) can be seen more clearly and a red line is displayed from each symbol to its anchor point. Note that if a symbol does not need to be moved, only the anchor point is displayed.

Release the mouse button to return to the normal Map View.
