Reply to comments on an asset

You can reply to comments on assets to continue the discussion. Comments are displayed in a thread so team members can follow the conversation.

1. Open the asset in a project. See Browse projects.

   On the Comments tab, existing comments are displayed, including the user who commented and when. To learn more about changing the comments displayed and the asset view, see View asset comments.

2. Click Reply next to the comment to reply to.

3. Enter your reply.

   • To add a sketch to a 2D image for your reply, click next to the reply. To learn more about adding sketches, see Add sketches to comments on an asset.

   • To add an attachment to your reply, click next to your reply. To learn more about adding attachments, see Attach files to a comment.

   • To add a locked asset view to a reply on a 3D model, adjust the asset view to best illustrate your reply, click the dropdown arrow in the comment box, and select the options you want to add to the reply. 4. Click Reply.

   Your reply is added under the comment you replied to.

   To edit your reply, click next to your reply and select Edit. Make changes and click Update.
