Editing dashboard charts and item views

You can edit dashboard charts and item views to change the criteria used to display data and other settings.

Note:  You can only edit a chart or item view if you are the owner. See Transferring dashboard chart and item view ownership.

1. Click Dashboards.

The Dashboards area opens.

2. Click the tab for the page that contains the chart or item view.

3. Select the chart or item view to edit.

4. Make any changes. You can:

• Change the chart type. You cannot change a chart to an item view or vice versa.
• Edit chart filters, dimensions, and measures to change the data displayed in the chart. See Selecting dashboard chart and item view filters, Selecting dashboard chart dimensions, and Selecting dashboard chart measures.
• Edit item view columns and filters. See Adding item views to dashboard pages.
• Change the chart color theme. See Changing dashboard chart color themes.
• Rename the chart of item view. See Renaming dashboard charts and item views
