Work with local versions
As you work on your project, you can open project files from the P4 One file view. When you add, modify, or delete files or folders, you can see an indicator of the changes you made on the thumbnails. To learn more about working with files, see Work with items in the file view.
When you want to take a snapshot of your workspace, you create a version. All versions you create are displayed in the timeline and saved in P4 One's version database. If you want to work with an older version, you can restore it from the timeline. As you continue to iterate and create versions, you will see colorful lines in the timeline that represent the branching of your changes, which are tracks .
To learn more, see Create a version and View the timeline.
