Using the Requirement Documents list

The Requirement Documents list displays basic information about documents in the project. From this list, you can add new documents, view, edit, and delete existing documents, and search for documents. You can also send email, enter workflow events, run document reports, and perform other actions. See Using item lists.

To open the Requirement Documents list, click Documents.
To open a document, click the document number or name. See Working with requirement documents. You can edit the requirement content and organization. See Modifying requirement documents. To edit the document details, click next to the document and choose Edit Details. See Editing requirement document details
To add a new document, click Add. See Adding requirement documents.
To move a document through the workflow, select it and click an event on the Workflow bar. Only valid events for the selected document are available. See Moving requirements and documents through the workflow. You can also add review notes to provide feedback on the document. See Reviewing requirements and documents
To perform other actions related to a document, select it, click Actions, and choose an action. You may be able to add links, add documents to folders, create snapshots, duplicate documents, and more.
To run a report on specific documents, select them and click . Mouse over the report to run. Choose HTML to run a report in HTML format. See Running reports. Click PDF to save the report in PDF format. See Saving reports as PDFs.
To send email about a document, select it, click , and choose an option. See Emailing from Helix ALM.
To delete a document, click next to it and choose Delete. See Deleting requirement documents.
To customize the list to display only information you need, you can rearrange columns, adjust column widths, insert and remove columns, apply filters, and add tabs. See Customizing item lists.
