Package ilog.views.maps.format.oracle Description

This package provides interfaces and classes for dealing with Oracle SDO.

The classes are based on the relational implementation of Oracle Spatial available since Oracle 7.3. It contains classes that facilitate the use of map data (stored in an Oracle database) in a Perforce JViews application.

• To read data from an SDO Layer, you can use the IlvSDOFeatureIterator.
• To display data from an SDO Layer with the Perforce JViews's load-on-demand functionality, you can use the IlvSDOLayer.
• To write data read from an IlvFeatureIterator into an SDO layer, you can use the IlvSDOWriter.
• The IlvSDOConnectionFactory is used to create a connection to an Oracle database if an .ivl file containing an IlvSDOLayer is read.
• To change the requests that are generated to load data for the tile of an IlvSDOLayer, you can subtype an IlvSDOTileLoader.
