Package ilog.views.maps.format.oracle.objectmodel Description

This package provides interfaces and classes for dealing with Oracle Spatial, using the Object Model.

The classes are based on the object implementation of Oracle Spatial available since Oracle 8i. It contains classes that facilitate the use of map data (stored in an Oracle database) in a Perforce JViews application. This package needs JDBC 2.0 (available in Java 2+).

• To read data from a layer, you can use the IlvObjectSDOFeatureIterator.
• To display data from a layer with the Perforce JViews's load-on-demand functionality, you can use the IlvObjectSDOLayer.
• To write data read from an IlvFeatureIterator into an Object Relational model layer, you can use the IlvObjectSDOWriter.
