Specifies the methods to load the contents of an IlvDataTile. The IlvDataTileController class uses a tile loader to fill new tiles.

Method Detail

load

void load(IlvDataTile tile)
   throws Exception

Loads the contents of the specified tile. This method is invoked by the tile controller for new tiles. Once the loading is performed, the IlvDataTile.loadComplete() method must be called on the considered tile.

release

void release(IlvDataTile tile)

Invoked by the tile controller when a tile is released. The loader should cancel the loading of this tile if it is not yet completed.

getXRange

IlvDataInterval getXRange()

Returns the limits of the x-values that will be provided by the loader. This method is used by the data set to indicate the limits of the x-values it will handle.
