Running the Map Builder

You can run the Map Builder from any Operating System supporting Java™ including Microsoft® Windows® or UNIX® systems.

For example, to run the Map Builder on a Microsoft® Windows® system:

Choose, for example: Start>All Programs>Rogue Wave JViews Maps for Defense 8.9>Map Builder

where Rogue Wave® is the default program group suggested by the installer

Double-click run.bat in the directory:

<installdir> /jviews-maps89/samples/mapbuilder

Note

This directory is also accessible from the JViews Maps for Defense Product Guide and is displayed when you follow the path Samples and code examples>Design Tools>Map Builder and click the directory link.

To run the Map Builder on a UNIX system, run the shell script run.sh in the directory:

<installdir> /jviews-maps89/samples/mapbuilder/index.html
