To conceal a layer or sublayer in a
map:

Point to the layer, right-click and select Do not Display Layer from the pop-up menu. The layer is concealed in the map and remains in the Map Layers pane.
To display a layer in the Map Layers
pane:

Point to the layer then right-click and select Display Layer from the pop-up menu. The layer is redisplayed in the Map.
Note
Displaying/Concealing a layer only works
for the current layer selected. For example, concealing a layer
will not conceal its sublayers.
