Introduction

A SourcePro DB installation consists of the DB Interface Module and one or more DB Access Modules. Each DB Access Module provides access to a specific database API; this architecture is explained in detail in the DB Interface Module User's Guide.

This guide explains unique features of the DB Access Module for Sybase. This Rogue Wave product provides access to Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise using Sybase’s “Open Client” libraries, specifically the Client-Library, CS-Library and Bulk-Library API provided by Sybase for UNIX, Windows, and other platforms.

NOTE: 	This manual assumes that you have installed your client database software and established a successful database connection.
