Create a workspace for collaboration

In P4 One, each project has its own folder, called a workspace, where you store files and subfolders related to the project. For example, a workspace may contain a 3D scene with hundreds of textures and scene files, or a 2D project with one file.

You must create a workspace before you can start working with files in P4 One.

To collaborate with others on a project, your workspace must be connected to P4.

If you are working on a new project independently and not collaborating with others, follow the steps in Create a workspace for yourself.

In this section:

Choose how to create a collaborative workspace

Before you create a collaborative workspace, select the best method based on your setup and requirements. All options require a connection to P4.

After you connect the workspace to P4 One, you can continue to use the workspace with other P4 clients, such as P4V or P4 CLI.
