Licensed features

P4 Search indexes file content, metadata, revision details, and change descriptions in P4 Server. To add additional features, such as preview generation and image auto-tagging, you must add P4 DAM to your Perforce license. To buy or renew licenses, contact the Sales Team at sales@perforce.com.

View license information

To check the license details of your P4 Search service:

  1. Log in to your P4 Search web UI.

  2. Select Account arrow from the top navigation bar.

  3. Select Status.

    The P4 Search Service status page displays the license information.

Alternatively, you can run the following command on your P4 command-line interface:

p4 license -o
