Use P4 Sync with P4 DAM

Use the following steps to get started with P4 Sync and P4 DAM:

1. Read about how P4 Sync works. See How P4 Sync works.

2. Install P4 Sync on your computer. See Install P4 Sync.

3. Log in to P4 Sync. See Log in to P4 Sync.

   The first time you log into P4 Sync, the Welcome page is displayed. See Welcome page - P4 DAM.

4. Learn how to use the P4 Sync user interface. See User interface - P4 DAM.

5. Browse the P4 DAM projects you have access to and open a project to see the collections in it to work with assets.

   The first time you select a collection, you will be asked to select a folder on your computer to store the collection in. See Select a collection folder.

6. Sync your workspace to download assets from the P4 Server. See Download changes.

7. Start working with your assets locally. See Work with assets in collections.
