Log in to P4 Sync
Before you log in for the first time, get the connection details and your log in credentials from your administrator.
Keep the following in mind:

If a newer version of P4 Sync is available, you are prompted to upgrade. Click Restart P4 Sync and install the update to upgrade to the latest version.

If P4 Sync cannot determine a character set to use, you are prompted to select one. The available character sets are configured on the P4 Server (P4CHARSET). Auto chooses the P4CHARSET automatically based on your operating system. Ask your administrator for help.
If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO) for P4 Server, you can use it to log in to P4 Sync through your organization's identity provider. See Log in with SSO.
Log in with a password
If the Password field is not displayed on the log in page, click Login with password.

Open P4 Sync.

Enter the URL or P4 Server connection details supplied by your administrator:

A P4 DAM URL must start with https or http.

A server address must include the P4 Server and port number.
For example, https://my-dam-url.com
For example, server:1666

Enter your Username.

Enter your Password.

Click Log in.
Log in with SSO
If your organization has single sign-on (SSO) configured for P4 Server, you can use it to log in through your organization's identity provider.

Open P4 Sync.

Click Log in with SSO.

Enter the connection details supplied by your administrator for the URL or P4 Server to connect to.

The P4 DAM URL must start with https or http.

The server address must include the P4 Server and port number.
For example, https://my-dam-url.com
For example, server:1666

Click Log in and your default web browser will open.
You are prompted to log in to the identity provider.

Enter your identity provider credentials to complete the P4 Sync SSO log in.
