Manage project metadata fields
You must be a company admin or project admin to manage project metadata fields.
Use metadata fields to capture additional information on assets. For example, you may have a Priority metadata field with Low, Medium, and High values. Metadata field values can be used as search criteria when searching for assets.
Metadata fields are displayed on the Asset details tab when viewing an asset. Users can change the field values. See Add and edit asset metadata.
You manage asset metadata fields at the company level. Any fields added at the company level that are not hidden are available in all assets and all projects in the company. In each project, the project admin can decide which metadata fields to show or hide. Any changes to metadata fields at the company level affect all projects in the company.
