Manage webhooks

You can make changes to webhooks, inactivate or activate webhooks, or delete webhooks that are no longer used.

You must be a company administrator to work with webhooks at the company level. You must be a company administrator or project administrator to work with webhooks at the project level.

Edit a webhook

  1. In P4 DAM, do one of the following:

    • To work with a webhook at the company level, click your user avatar and select Company settings. The Company settings pane opens.

    • To work with a webhook at the project level, go to the project. In the pane on the left side of the page, at the bottom, click Project settings. The Project settings pane opens.

  2. Click Webhooks.

  3. On the Webhooks page, next to the webhook, click the vertical ellipsis button and select Edit.

  4. In the Edit webhook pane, make any changes and click Finish.

Inactivate or activate a webhook

  1. In P4 DAM, do one of the following:

    • To work with a webhook at the company level, click your user avatar and select Company settings. The Company settings pane opens.

    • To work with a webhook at the project level, go to the project. In the pane on the left side of the page, at the bottom, click Project settings. The Project settings pane opens.

  2. Click Webhooks.

  3. On the Webhooks page, click the vertical ellipsis button next to the webhook:

    • To prevent the webhook from running, select Inactivate. The webhook is displayed as Inactive in gray on the Webhooks page.

    • To activate an inactive webhook, select Activate.

Delete a webhook

When you delete a webhook, events no longer trigger the webhook and information is not updated between applications.

Any Jira links in an asset are displayed as static links and no information from Jira is displayed or shared between Jira and P4 DAM.

  1. In P4 DAM, do one of the following:

    • To work with a webhook at the company level, click your user avatar and select Company settings. The Company settings pane opens.

    • To work with a webhook at the project level, go to the project. In the pane on the left side of the page, at the bottom, click Project settings. The Project settings pane opens.

  2. Click Webhooks.

  3. On the Webhooks page, next to the webhook, click the vertical ellipsis button and select Delete. When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Delete.

    The webhook is deleted and events will no longer trigger this webhook or update information between applications.
