Add P4 Code Review to your subscription | P4 Cloud account administrator

You can add P4 Code Review to your P4 Cloud subscription. P4 Code Review is a web-based application for P4 that streamlines the peer code review process and unites your team to do more effective code reviews. Contributors share files, comment, suggest tasks, vote up or down, and submit final work within P4 Code Review. To learn more about P4 Code Review, see the Perforce website.

To add P4 Code Review to your P4 Cloud subscription, you must have least three users in your subscription. To learn about adding more users to your subscription, see Manage subscriptions | P4 Cloud account administrator.

After adding P4 Code Review to your subscription, it is free for at least one year. Keep in mind that Swarm usage affects your monthly network egress. You can review egress on the Metrics page in the P4 Cloud portal. To learn more, see View usage metrics for P4 Cloud | P4 Cloud account administrator.

1. In the P4 Cloud portal, click Subscriptions in the navigation bar.

   The Subscriptions page opens.

2. Click a subscription.

   The Subscription details page opens.

3. Click Manage.

   The Manage subscriptions page opens.

4. Click the P4 Code Review box.

5. Click Update subscription.

   P4 Code Review is added to your subscription. You can check the server status on the Subscription details page. To learn more, see View subscription details | P4 Cloud account admins.

Onboarding your team to P4 Code Review

To get your team up and running with P4 Code Review, provide them with the following information:

• P4 Code Review URL: You can find the URL on the Subscription Details page in the P4 Cloud portal. See View subscription details | P4 Cloud account adminsView server details for P4 Cloud | Azure account administrators.

• Credentials: Team members use the same credentials to log in to P4 Code Review as they do other P4 clients, such as P4V.

• Documentation: The P4 Code Review documentation provides detailed information about using P4 Code Review.

Limitations

When using P4 Code Review with P4 Cloud, you cannot:

• Extend P4 Code Review. To learn more about what extending P4 Code Review means, see Extending P4 Code Review in the P4 Code Review documentation.
