Run the IPLM Web Configurator

Administrators can run Configurator to install features for IPLM Web, such as IPLM Web Home or Quick Filters.

Run Configurator from the IPLM Web install directory with this command: ./scripts/config-feature.sh

The IPLM Web install directory is either: 

  • /usr/share/mdx/products/piweb/, if IPLM Web was installed using an RPM or Debian package
  • or
  • Directory specified by customer, if IPLM Web was installed using the self-extracting archive

Provide the --help option to see the optional parameters, such as --username, --password, and --optional-features. If any of these three parameters are omitted, Configurator will prompt you to provide a value.

Log in as admin and the configuration begins.

Once the configuration is done, you will see the success message. All users will have access to the newly installed feature.
