Reporting bugs

If you have the required access to report bugs, you can do so in the Quality assurance tab.

Tip:  In addition to adding bugs individually, you can also create multiple bugs at once by pasting text from your clipboard. See Creating items from clipboard.

1. Click New bug.

A new blank bug is added to the list.

2. Select the bug and use the Item Details section to add information about the bug, including giving it a Description.

Changes are saved immediately, so if you use the Assigned to field to delegate the bug to a user, the bug will instantly appear in their To Do List. For more information on this section, see Viewing and editing item details.

3. Use the Detailed Description section to provide additional information about the bug.

4. Select the Steps to reproduce tab and enter the steps required to replicate the issue.

5. To add the bug to a spring, right-click it in the list and hover over the Commit to option.

A list of sprints appears, and selecting one will commit the bug to that sprint.

6. To tag the bug to a release, right-click it and hover over the Tag to release option.

A list of releases appears, and selecting one will commit the bug to that release. For more information, see Release tags/milestones.
