Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance tab enables you to track bugs and plan the work to resolve them. Bugs can be committed to sprints and assigned to one or more users, which will make them appear in those users' To Do List.

Every member of a project can view the Quality assurance tab. If you have the required permissions, you also have the following options:

  • New bug - Clicking this creates a new blank backlog item at the current selection. See Reporting bugs.
  • Commit to - Right-click an item and hover over this option to see a list of sprints. Select one to commit the item to that sprint. You can also do this by dragging the item from the backlog into the sprint. Committed items are indicated with the icon.
  • Tag to release - Right-click an item and select this to tag the bug to a release. See Release tags/milestones.
  • Customise project - Configure the Quality assurance tab, such as setting up Workflows and adding custom columns. See Customizing a project for quality assurance.
  • Permissions - Set restricts to access and edit bug data and columns. See Setting Quality Assurance permissions.
  • Screenshot - Attach images from your clipboard to bugs. See Using the screenshot tool.
  • Import Helix ALM XML - Create bugs by importing XML data from Helix ALM. See Importing Helix ALM XML.
