Creating a user view preset

You can create a new user view preset to customize the layout of the Planning, Quality assurance and Product Backlog views.

You can also create presets by importing an .xml file.

1. Click More > Manage user view presets.

The Manage user view presets pop-up window opens.

2. Click New.

The Edit window opens, which consists of several tabs where you can configure the preset.

3. In the General pane, enter the preset's name.

4. To share the preset with other users, click the Select users or groups button.

For more information, see .

By sharing a preset, you give the selected users access to edit the preset as well as applying it. Editing a shared preset updates it for all users who have access to the preset.

5. In the Columns tab, select the columns to include in the preset.

If you want the preset to include all columns, leave them all deselected.

6. To change the order of columns, use the Move up/Move down buttons or drag and drop them in the list.

7. In the Item Details tab, select which columns to show in the Item details window.

You can copy the selected columns from the Columns pane by clicking the Copy from Columns tab button.

8. In the Bug Item Details tab, select which columns to show for bugs committed to a sprint.

This tab is only available for presets in the Planning view.

9. In the Show Options tab, choose which options should be available when the preset is applied.

This works similarly to the options available in the Show menu. For more information, see Customising the item list.

10. Click OK to save.
