Using the Helix Plan Backup Service
The Helix Plan Backup Service is designed to back up Helix Plan databases larger than 100 GB. When the service creates a backup, it freezes the databases it is configured to back up, takes a snapshot, unfreezes the databases, and then runs a full backup on the snapshot copy. These backups include project history and documents.
The backup service is only available for Windows. Use the built-in backup tool if Helix Plan is hosted on a different operating system. See Scheduling automatic database backups.
