Rogue Wave JViews 2017.2 (9.2)
This document describes the main changes that have been made to JViews since version 9.1.
· JViews libraries are now compatible with Java 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 but are still compiled to Java 7.
· JViews Eclipse components can be used in the last Eclipse version (Eclipse - 4.17).
· The Apache Tomcat application server shipped with JViews has been updated to version 8.5.34.
· The package batik-jviews-tiff-9.2.jar has been deprecated as it is not compliant with Java 11+. This package is not used anymore by JViews. The tiff reading capability is now done via an imageIO plugin provided by Twelve Monkeys.
