getColumnIndex

Returns the index of a column.

Parameters:

model - A model.

column - The given column.

Returns:

The index of the designated column, or -1 if the given column does not belong to the given model.

getColumnIndexByName

public static int getColumnIndexByName(IlvModelWithColumns model,
                                       String name)

Returns the index of a column given by name.

Parameters:

model - A model.

name - A possible column name.

Returns:

The index of the designated column, or -1 if there is no column with this name.

getColumnByName

public static IlvDataColumnInfo getColumnByName(IlvModelWithColumns model,
                                                String name)

Returns metainformation about a column given by name.

Parameters:

model - A model.

name - A possible column name.

Returns:

The information about the designated column, or null if there is no column with this name.

haveSameColumns

public static boolean haveSameColumns(IlvModelWithColumns model1,
                                      IlvModelWithColumns model2)

Determines whether two models have the same columns, in the same order.

getColumnsArray

public static IlvDataColumnInfo[] getColumnsArray(IlvModelWithColumns model)

Returns the list of columns of a model as an array.

getColumnsList

public static List<IlvDataColumnInfo> getColumnsList(IlvModelWithColumns model)

Returns the list of columns of a model as a list.

Returns:

An unmodifiable list of IlvDataColumnInfo.

constructColumnName

public static String constructColumnName(int i)

Returns a default column name for the column i. This function constructs column names: A, B, C, ... Z, AA, AB, ... corresponding to the column numbers 0, 1, 2, ... 25, 26, 27, ...
