In the Symbol Editor you can work in two
different modes:
- Symbol Editing mode to define your symbols
- Preview mode to test the behavior of a symbol as it would be in an application
By default, the Symbol Editor runs in
Symbol Editing mode. In this mode, you add objects and parameters
as you have been doing.
To change the Symbol Editor mode:

Click the mode buttons in the vertical toolbar next to the Symbol Outline pane.
