Framework, you should use the accessibility techniques described
either in JViews
Diagrammer (for symbols) or in JViews Framework (for
background maps).
Additionally, you can use the layer styling APIs to set a different
style controller (see IlvMapStyleController) with a different set
of colors, or color filters (see IlvColorAttributeFilter), to dynamically
filter the various styling elements in the background layers.
