To open an existing dashboard diagram:

In Dashboard Editor, click File > Open.Files in both the binary and XML formats are displayed in the Open window.

Select a dashboard diagram file.

Click Open.
Note
When it loads a dashboard diagram, the Dashboard Editor tries to
locate and load missing symbol palettes. These palettes must be
stored in a directory included in the Java™
CLASSPATH for this to work correctly.
