The Check Rules facility checks for:
- Bad property values (wrong type of value)
- References to nonexistent data properties
- Conditions that do not currently apply to any object in the data, indicating rules that may be useless (however, such rules may be useful with a different data set and so do not always constitute an error)
To check your rules, choose Edit>Check
Rules or click the Check Rules button in the Messages panel.
The result of the check appears as a series of messages in the
Messages panel, see Messages
for troubleshooting. Note that messages of all levels are
displayed, regardless of the filter level set in the Messages
panel.
