The following main directories are created when you install Rogue
Wave® JViews Diagrammer
on your machine.
Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer jar files
Here is the list of Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer jar
files provided in the lib
directory:
- jviews-diagrammer-all.jar — jar file that contains all of Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer.
- jviews-diagrammer.jar - jar file that contains everything needed to deploy an application with Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer. This jar does not contain the tools of the tool chain (Designer, Symbol Editor, Symbol Compiler, Dashboard Editor) nor the dashboard run time.
- palettes/jviews-palette-controls-8.10.jar — jar file that contains symbols for monitoring applications.
- palettes/jviews-palette-shared-symbols-8.10.jar — jar file that contains symbols used in the tutorials.
- palettes/jviews-palette-tunnel-monitoring-8.10.jar — jar file that contains symbols used in the Tunnel Monitoring demo.
- palettes/jviews-palette-charts-8.10.jar — jar file that contains chart symbols that can be used in JViews Diagrammer. These symbols can only work if JViews Charts is installed.
- palettes/jviews-palette-entities-8.10.jar — jar file that contains general purpose nodes for entity relationship diagrams.
These libraries use software internally that is provided under

The following JavaScript libraries are
used by the Web samples:
- codefragments/jsf-diagrammer-oah/webapps/data/openajax/all — OpenAjax Hub 2.0.2_r1181 used by the JViews Diagrammer OpenAjax code fragment
- samples/diagrammer/jsf-diagrammer-editing/webpages/dojo 1.4.1 used by the JViews Diagrammer Editing sample
In addition, Rogue Wave JViews
Diagrammer also uses some of the libraries provided by Rogue
Wave JViews Framework.

Additional directories
The following main directories exist in
the distribution:
- bin — contains the following applications:
- The Rogue Wave JViews Symbol Editor that allows you to create palettes of interactive symbols usable in other applications such as the Designer or the Dashboard Editor.
- The Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer Designer that allows you to graphically connect the Diagrammer to your data as well as style the graphical objects in the Diagrammer.
- The Rogue Wave JViews Composer editor.
- The Rogue Wave JViews Symbol Compiler that allows you to convert the symbols into Java™ code.
- data — example data in IVL, SVG, GIF, XML, and CSS formats.
- doc — contains all the documentation related to Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer.
- samples — JViews Diagrammer samples to allow you to see particular aspects of the classes provided by Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer.
- codefragments — JViews Diagrammer code examples used in the documentation that illustrate aspects of Rogue Wave JViews Diagrammer.
- license — contains the license agreements and third party notices.
