This class lets you easily create new types of ports based on a single Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file.

It is easy to create a new port type with the following code:

 IltPort.Type newType =
   new IltPort.Type(YOUR_NEW_TYPE_NAME);
 try {
   URL url = new URL("file","",YOUR_SVG_FILE_NAME);
   IltPortSVGBaseRendererFactory factory = new IltPortSVGBaseRendererFactory(url);

public IltPortSVGBaseRendererFactory(URL svgURL)

Creates the factory, always returning the same given SVG object. The SVG graphic object is read from the file upon first use.

Parameters:

svgURL - URL that contains the graphic description

IltPortSVGBaseRendererFactory

public IltPortSVGBaseRendererFactory()

Creates the factory, always returning the same given SVG object. The SVG graphic object is read from the file upon first use. The SVG graphic description must be specified before using this renderer factory for the first time through method IltSVGBaseRendererFactory.setURL(URL).

createValue

public IltBaseRenderer createValue()

Returns an IltPortBaseRenderer able to display an SVG object.

The SVG graphic object is loaded upon first use. Each call to this method creates a copy of the SVG graphic object and encapsulates it within a IltPortBaseRenderer that is ready to be used in the Network element representation.
