Background Support

A new API has been introduced to handle the background support for JViews TGO.

The new API (ilog.cpl.graph.background) replaces the previous API (ilog.cpl.graphic.view.background). For more details on the compatibility, refer to the Migration Guide.

The new API allows you to:

Take advantage of Map Themes:

Map Styles - Allows for the background graphical representation to be modified depending on map scale.
Areas of Interest - Bookmarks areas that are of interest in the view.
Display Preferences - Preferences that affect the display of cartographic data as backgrounds and background-related beans.
Map Labeling - Allows for labeling of background data.

Take advantage of the latest improvements in the underlying JViews Maps API:

Integration of the IlvMapDataSource API
Integration of all performance improvements
Support for additional background formats

Have more control over the underlying constructs that compose a given background.
Have more options for CSS background configuration.
