The basis for all OCUT classes is the OCUTItem class. This abstract base class is the foundation for the Utility Toolkit library. It defines several basic functions that should be implemented by all derived classes. There are functions to clean out the data and the component list. It also defines a Paint() function that draws the chart into a window or a defined rectangle.
