Building the Essential Math Module Library
The Essential Math Module requires a Basic Linear Algebra (BLA) library. When creating your buildspec in RCB, choose the Basic Linear Algebra (BLA) library your applications will use:
the Netlib CLAPACK library (CLAPACK)the Intel Math Kernel Library (MKL)the Sun Performance Library (SPL) NOTE: MKL and SPL are performance-enhanced libraries for their respective platforms.
When configuring your build, the BLA libraries available for selection depend on the chosen platform.
Whichever library you select, RCB makes the library available when it builds the Essential Math Module library. The Netlib CLAPACK library is provided with SourcePro. The MKL you must obtain from Intel. The SPL is available through that platform’s compiler.
