Thank you for choosing Tools.h++ Professional, a greatly expanded version of Rogue Wave's flagship product, Tools.h++. Tools.h++ Professional was designed to simplify your development of applications that operate across networks and platforms. Your purchase includes Tools.h++ itself, and five complementary libraries organized into three modules.

Tools.h++ provides more than 130 fundamental C++ classes and an easy-to-use interface to the Standard C++ Library. These classes are documented in the Tools.h++ User's Guide, Class Reference, and Build Guide.

The Java/C++ interoperability module simplifies communication between your C++ and Java applications with the jtools library, a Java implementationof the Tools.h++ virtual streams.
The networking module simplifies distributed computing with two libraries for network communication:

The net library of network communication classes enables you to build client/server applications without being tied to a specific communication protocol.

The int library of thread-hot Internet classes allow you to quickly add FTP, HTTP, SMTP, and POP3 capabilities to C++ client applications.

The CORBA module simplifies CORBA computing with the orb library, which makes it easier to pass Rogue Wave and user-defined objects by value across a CORBA interface. The orb library uses an Orbix-specific opaque datatype.
