Options Menu (WzVariable)
Redisplay List—Displays any new variables that have been created at the PV‑WAVE command line or imported into PV‑WAVE since the WzVariable Tool was started.
Associated with Tool(s)—Brings up the Associate Variable(s) with Tools dialog box. This dialog box lets you associate the variables from one or more currently active VDA Tools with the WzVariable Tool. All of the variables from the selected VDA Tool(s) are displayed in the WzVariable Tool’s variable list.
By Type—Brings up the Display Variables by Type dialog box. This dialog box lets you choose by data type which variables are displayed in the WzVariable Tool variable list.
Show Variable—Brings up the Show Variable dialog box. This dialog box lets you select hidden variables to redisplay. If no variables were previously hidden, a message box appears instead.
Hide Variable(s)—Hides (temporarily removes from the displayed list) selected variables. To select a variable to hide, click
MB1 on the variable name in the list.
Delete Variable—Deletes (permanently removes from PV‑WAVE) selected variables. To select a variable to delete, click MB1 on the variable name in the list.
note | The Delete Variable command does not just remove a variable from the WzVariable list, it deletes the selected variable from PV‑WAVE. You cannot recover a variable that has been deleted. |
Copy Variable—Brings up the Copy Variable dialog box. This dialog box lets you copy a selected variable and give the copy a unique name.
Rename Variable—Brings up the Rename Variable dialog box. This dialog box lets you change the name of the selected variable.
Variable Info—Displays a dialog box with information about the variable: data type, array size, max/min value, mean value, standard deviation, and total value.
Message Area—Select this menu item to show the
message area. Deselect this item to hide the message area.
