Modifying and Moving Axes
The editing functions that are available in the Axes Attributes dialog box allow you to change things like axis range, linestyle, and the placement of ticks along the axes.
Modifying Axes
The basic procedure for modifying axes includes these steps:
1. Select the axis. Do this by clicking the Object Selection button on the button bar and clicking MB1 on the object.
2. Bring up the Attributes dialog box for the selected axis. Do this by selecting Attributes=>Selected Object.
3. Make whatever changes you want to make in the dialog box and click the Apply or OK button.

note
You can produce a grid overlaying the plot. First, add top, bottom, left, and right axes to the plot. Then, change the Major Tick Length setting to a value of 1 in the Axis Attributes dialog box for each axis.
Moving an Axis
The general procedure for moving an axis includes these steps:
1. Select the axis you want to move. Do this by clicking the Object Selection button on the button bar, and then clicking MB1 on the axis.
2. To move the axis, press MB1 with the pointer on the axis and move the mouse to drag the axis.
