Configuring incoming webhooks for Docker

The webhook port is already set up in the image. You only turn the feature on and publish the port.

1. Add this line to your .env file:

Copy
inboundWebhooksEnabled=true

Start the container with the webhook port published. If it already exists, remove it and start it again, because Docker can't add a port to an existing container:

Copy
docker stop p4planweb
docker rm p4planweb
docker run -d --restart unless-stopped --name p4planweb -p 80:80 -p 443:443 -p 8443:8443 --env-file .env perforce/helix-plan-web:latest

If you copied your own certificates into the old container, copy them again.

2. Open only port 8443 to the internet. Keep 80 and 443 internal.

3. Set up the webhook in P4 Plan and in your external app.
