You can rename dashboard charts and item views. For example, you may want to rename a chart its purpose clearer for other people or after cloning a chart.
You can only rename a chart or item view if you are the owner. See Transferring dashboard chart and item view ownership.
1. Select Dashboards.
The Dashboards area opens.
2. Select the tab for the page that contains the chart or item view.
3. Mouse over the chart or item view, select 
, and select Rename.
The chart or item view name is editable.
4. Enter a new name.
5. Select Save.
The chart or item view is renamed.
