Managing authentication tokens
You can use tokens to authenticate the P4 Plan web client and some integrations instead of a username and password. A token is a unique string that provides secure access to P4 Plan. The first time you log in using a token, you enter your username and use the token instead of the password. When you use a token, you can stay logged in to P4 Plan until the token expires or you log out.
1. Select your username in the upper-right corner of the window and choose Manage tokens.
The Manage tokens dialog opens.
2. To add a new token, select New. See Adding authentication tokens.
3. To the name of an existing token, select it and select Edit. See Editing authentication tokens.
4. To delete a token that is no longer used, select it and select Delete. See Deleting authentication tokens.
Administrative users can delete tokens that you add. See Viewing and deleting authentication tokens for users.
5. Select OK when you finish.
