Administrators can convert a project user group to a global group so it can be used to provide access to multiple projects in the P4 Plan database.
You cannot convert a global group to a project group. You can clone a global group and update the new group to be a project group. See Cloning user groups.
1. Select Admin.
The Admin area opens.
2. Select Groups.
The Groups list opens.
3. Select the project group to convert and select Edit.
The Edit group dialog opens.
4. Select (Global group) in the Project list.
5. Select OK.
You are prompted to confirm the conversion. The action cannot be undone.
6. Select Yes.
The group is converted to a global group.
