To create a connected project you will first need to create a normal Helix QAC project with a single configuration. To do this, you should add all the relevant files to the project, ensure that the options are set correctly for that set of code, and that the results are as expected. You need to be aware that the project configuration will be shared, and that the project roots should therefore be created with the full set of users in mind.
Once you are satisfied with the project configuration, you can upload it to Validate. You must already be authenticated and results can only be uploaded to existing Validate projects. It is possible to create new Validate projects directly within the tools, without needing to use the web interface.
Creation is a two-step process, so first you connect the Helix QAC project to the Validate project, then you can upload the configuration to the Validate server.
