Delete a file from your workspace
When you upload your deleted file, the file is deleted from the Helix Core Server and the workspaces of other users when they download your change.
You can delete files from your workspace at any time. Deleted files are shown as Deleted in your My changes list.

In Helix Sync, click the workspace to open it.

Click the My files list.

Click the vertical ellipsis
next to the file, and click Lock file. The file is locked.

In the My changes and My files lists, the file is labeled as Locked by: me

In the Changes by others list, locked files are labeled Locked by: username (username of the user that locked the file)

Open your workspace in your file browser or tool you are using for your project.

Navigate to the folder your file is in.

Delete the file.

In Helix Sync, click the workspace to open it.

Click the My changes list and click Refresh all changes.
Helix Sync displays the deleted file on the My changes list.

Upload the change with Helix Sync. See Upload changes.
The file is deleted from the Helix Core Server.
If you delete the file by mistake, either restore it from your trash can/recycle bin or click the vertical ellipsis next to the file in the My changes list and click Revert my changes.
