Changing the status of an asset

Each asset in a collection has a status that is tracked on the project Kanban board. For example, you can see the progress of an asset through its lifecycle, from creation through release. You can change the status on the asset or in the Kanban board.

Changing status in an open asset

  1. Open the asset in a project.

You can only change the status of an asset if it is open in a project. If the asset is already open outside of a project, click Projects and then click the project to open the asset in. See Viewing asset project information.

  2. Click the current status.

  3. In the Change status menu, select the new status.

The asset status is updated. The asset will now be shown in the new status column on the Kanban board.

Changing asset status in a Kanban board

  1. Open the project. See Browsing projects.

  2. Click Kanban board in the project navigation pane on the left.

    The board opens.

  3. Drag an asset from the current column to a new column.

    The asset status is updated.
