Tutorials

Helix DAM tutorials are displayed in the Tutorials section on the home page.

To restore the Tutorials section to the home page, click the help icon in the top right corner of the home page and select Restore tutorials.

Projects

Click Projects to open the Projects page and work with projects you have access to. See Projects.

Your favorite projects are displayed for easy access. Click a project to go directly to it.

Tip

A project automatically becomes a favorite after you access it five times. You can remove projects from your favorites. See Remove a project from favorite projects.

Browse assets

Click Browse assets to browse all assets in Helix DAM. Use this if you do not have enough information to search for assets you need or to find assets that are not in a Helix DAM project. This is typically used by team members who also use a Helix Core client and are familiar with the organization of all the files.

Recent assets

Assets recently added to Helix DAM are displayed in the Recent assets section on the home page. A preview of the asset, the name, and when it was last refreshed are displayed.

  • To work with a specific asset, click it to open it. See Working with assets.
  • To make a copy of an asset, hover over it and click the selector in the top right corner to select it. Click Copy to. See Copy assets to other collections or folders.
  • Company admins only: To add tags to an asset, hover over the asset and click the selector in the top right corner to select it. Click Add tags. See Add tags to assets.
Note

Some assets may not have a preview available depending on the file type.
