Set 3D model directional lighting

You can adjust the directional light in Viewer settings.

You can save any changes you make to your Viewer settings for the asset version you are viewing. Saved Viewer settings apply to that specific version of the asset and are shared with all users who view that version. To learn more, see Save and reset 3D Viewer settings.

  1. Select Viewer settings in the animation playback toolbar.

    The Viewer settings dialog opens. It can be repositioned anywhere on the page or you can add it to the panes on either side of the asset.

  2. Select Environment and lighting .

  3. Under Directional light, select the Color picker and select a color.

  4. Drag the Intensity slider to increase or decrease the strength of the directional light.

  5. To reset the lighting to its default setting, select Reset. This also resets the other controls in the dialog.
