Search for assets and bundles

Searching is the easiest way to find the assets and asset bundles you need to work with. You can do a simple search based on asset name, bundle name, tag, or metadata, or an advanced search to filter the results using more specific criteria.

You can browse all assets and bundles in P4 DAM if you do not know what to search for. See Browse assets and bundles.

Search by name, tag, or metadata

  1. Enter the name, tag, or metadata to search for in the search field at the top of the page and press Enter.

Matching assets and bundles are shown. Click an asset or bundle to open it. You can also select multiple assets and bundles to perform actions on them. In the upper left corner of each asset and bundle, click the selector to select it. A checkmark indicates an asset or bundle is selected. See Work with assets.

To select multiple assets and bundles using keyboard shortcuts, see Select multiple assets and bundles with shortcuts.

Some asset thumbnails may not be available based on the file type.
  2. To clear the search criteria, click Clear all filters below your avatar or X in the search field.
